Paul C. Glynn     1952-2022
Late Partner at Glynn Law Offices

Attorney, Paul C. Glynn, passed unexpectedly on June 9, 2022. He was the devoted husband of Suzanne Fay Glynn, to whom he was married for 41 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children and their spouses, Matthew P. Glynn and Kirsten Glynn; Caitlin Glynn and Jeremy Reich; grandchildren, Charles “Charlie” Glynn, Declan Glynn, and Faye Reich; siblings, David Glynn, Thomas Glynn, and Eileen Malone; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Paul grew up in the St. Gregory’s Parish neighborhood of Dorchester. He attended Boston College High School and Boston College, where he formed a close circle of friends to whom he remained connected throughout his life. His family spent summers in Falmouth, where Paul worked as a lifeguard for many years and also met his wife.

Paul lived an active life and shared his love of sports with friends and family. He was a natural on the baseball field and also enjoyed hockey, which he played at BC High. The organizer of childhood pickup games and family softball games, he played the role of chairman, referee, and key teammate, stressing fun over all else, despite how competitive the games could become. He coached many baseball and hockey teams and was particularly proud of winning back-to-back Falmouth Little League Championships on the coaching staff of his son’s team.

In addition to team sports, Paul ran the Falmouth Road Race 44 years in a row, running his first race in 1975, two years after the inaugural race. The family could count on his yearly email reminders to register for the race and looked forward to the weekend together.

Paul graduated from Suffolk Law School. He and Suzanne eventually settled in Falmouth and established Glynn Law Offices, a real estate and estate planning firm. Paul specialized in real estate law and used his expertise to grow his business and enrich his community. He was Chairman of the Community Preservation Committee, on the board of trustees for the Salt Pond Areas Bird Sanctuaries, and a Former Commissioner of the Falmouth Housing Authority.

His final years were dedicated to his grandchildren. He made time for them above all else. His brightest smiles were always in response to a greeting or smile from his grandchildren. He also adopted his wife’s love of all things Italian, including the language, which he became fluent in during his later years.
